The compositor resolution affects overlay rendering, so the dashboard and floating overlays. I have a single TV monitor that Is connected to my PC's graphics card so i'm not sure why there would be too many compositors running. Other times it will say too many compositors running. Now all the sudden when I launch SteamVR I get this error code (-203). I have been running this just fine for weeks. And from that graphics card I have a display port to mini display port connected to the vives link box. When you launch an app from in there, steam knows to launch the VR version, plus your headset is already running so there wont be a problem there. I have a HDMI cable plugged into my TV and connected to my main gtx 980 graphics card. SteamVR Home is a virtual home for you to choose and customize, and it has walls showing your recent apps, friends, etc. In SteamVR status it states, "You'll need this for SteamVR to work correctly." Then prompts me to select "Launch Compositor" which tries and crashes in the HMD.
